hi it's regan-im making a new deviantart profile and i will delete this one soon. check it out over here but be warned, its not really updated yet. but i will be making better art more frequently, and should be opening commissions soon. 

lately i have been trying to improve my perspective and general shading and proportions by tracing the basic shapes and where things are in someones face, and then adding on to it- with shading and lines and anything i can do to make it more mine-> to make it special. I have done this with my face (kinda) and backgrounds, with my sister's and mother's faces, but i need more to practice with. i need to practice the male face and body types but i dont know what to search for. eeeep...
but basically i am trying really hard to improve and i am hoping that practicing from a real face over one in my imagination, will help me improve when i draw a completely freehand face of my own design. maybe it will turn out more realistic??? i hope so.
so... yeah...

so... im really into character design, apparently, in that, i draw pics of people to tell the story that is going on in my head. they're like notes to myself about great story ideas. so no matter how awful one of my pieces is, it reminds me of a story, and i put those awful drawings on this site so that maybe, someone can see that story, and appreciate my work for the thoughts behind it. maybe.
